"Ogden Cloverleaf" Necklace with hand carved British Columbian nephrite jade pendant with nephrite jade bead and hand braided silk cord.
The necklace features a dramatic pendant I carved in Ogden Mountain jade from British Columbia. The jade is a rich, dark green.
The pendant is an abstract form with four lobes whose edges are full and rounded and concave in the center. The centers of the lobes are very thin and translucent.
The pendant is accented by a bright green Siberian jade bead. The cord is plant dyed, hand braided pure silk kumihimo. Strands of black, dusty rose, and yellow are interwoven in a chevron design braid. A beige jade bead slides at the top of the cord to adjust the length of the necklace.
The pendant is signed and dated SCHILLING 2020.
The pendant measures 2 3/8" high x 2 3/8" wide x 7/16" thick, and weighs 1.5 ounces.
