Wheel thrown and hand-built from white earthenware.
Textural grooves carved in interior. Meticulously carved and mulitple colored underlazes bring this red eyed tree frog to life - poised to leap off the piece. The overall color of the bowl is a warm white with subtle speckles of grey naturally occurring in the clay. Clear glaze inside and out. Signature on bottom.
Even though a dinnerware safe glaze is used, this piece is designed as a statement, sculptural piece that will be delightful on a coffee table.
