The Patchwork Basket is inspired by my love of quilts, both old and new. I’ve sewn a few, too, so know how tricky it can be to precisely line up patches and patterns! The paper patches in this basket line up much more easily within the unevenly spaced wire grid that defines the Patchwork Basket’s shape. More sculptural in design than functional, this basket makes its presence known. Due to the handmade nature of my work, no two baskets are ever quite alike. Finished with a clear sealant.
