I think it would be magical if autumn leaves, while dropping from trees, would freeze mid-air, for just a bit, before they continued their graceful fall to the ground. The Falling Leaves Basket captures this daydream, with paper leaves suspended and surrounded by pockets of openness, linked to each other by dark wire so they form the basket’s shape. Rich colors and subtle patterns cover each leaf, just like their real counterparts. Despite its open structure, this basket is sturdy and can easily hold thing. Due to the handmade nature of my work, no two of my baskets are ever quite alike. Finished with a clear sealant for use.
