"You Don't Understand; the Portal Isn't Physical" is a contemporary modern art quilt inspired by the art and architecture of Friedensreich Hundertwasser.
This piece was created on my home sewing machine, using improvisational patchwork techniques. The top was then layered with batting, and quilted with straight-line quilting to allow the main image to shine. The edges are finished with hand-sewn binding.
Materials: cotton fabric, batting, thread
Dimensions: 34 3/4” x 32 1/2” x 1”
Hanging: this piece hangs easily via an included hanging sleeve and dowel. Alternatively, consult with your local art framer for alternate options.
Care: Avoid hanging in direct sunlight or in close proximity to heaters or incandescent bulbs. Clean lightly with a lint brush, as needed.
