This necklace features a pendant I carved in translucent olive green Wyoming nephrite jade. The quirky, very sculptural movement of the form and the tiny teeth (dentils) make this a truly unique piece.
The pendant is accented by satin finished glowing carnelian beads and is suspended on a hand braided kumihimo cord made of plant-dyed silk threads.
The length of the necklace is adjustable by means of a sliding bead at the back of the neck.
The pendant measures 2 1/2" high x 1 1/8" wide x 3/8" thick. The entire necklace weighs 1.1 ounces.
The pendant is signed and dated SCHILLING 2019.
