The top is Tiger Maple from Big Leaf Western maple trees. It was the wrong shape for a table, but perfect for a bench with exposed joinery. the support underneath the bench gives it enough strength to hold three adults. It sold quickly. Dimensions 43"W x 18"D x 17"H. The top and feet are curly maple. The legs and the support are Bubinga (a very hard wood from West Africa, from environmentally harvested and certified forests). The finish is many coats of hand rubbed oil. This table is tomorrow's antique. Custom made, 50% deposit guarantees its place in line. The tiger stripe may not be readily available.
