This was my first journey into the world of live edge tables. I carried over the rounded legs from Walking Table #2 which I connected to the top with hidden dowels. It looked like an animal on a hunt, hence its name, Prowling Table. It won 1st Prize in Large Tables at the Orange County Fair, CA in 2014. It sold a year later. Dimensions 43"W x 18"D x 30"H. The top is Western Big Leaf Curly maple. The legs are Sapele (from Central America from environmentally harvested and certified forests). The finish is many coats of hand rubbed oil. This table is tomorrow's antique. Custom made, 50% deposit guarantees its place in line. Shipping at commercial rates is extra. Shipping crates cost $250, $125 refund for returning the box.
