The process begins on an etching press. These earrings are made of tiny collagraphs - a textured relief printing process. I print them myself on the on ‘washable paper’ - a German-made product of cellulose and synthetic latex. I then assemble the earrings with steel and sterling silver.
The earrings are super light, and 2.6 inches long.

The red pair have an upper element made of reticulated, oxidized sterling silver.
The yellow pair have an upper element of sterling silver coated with epoxy resin and powdered pigments.
While I would not suggest actually washing them, they are quite sturdy and impervious to moisture!
