About The Artist

Hoboken , NJ

Bold, Simple, Geometric Art Jewelry with an eclectic edge; inspired by the raw beauty of nature, scared geometry, and simplicity. The work is an evolution of a simple shape into sophisticated motifs. I find beauty in the simplest of shape and I am inspirited by the evolution of that shape. Techniques are forging, lost wax, and fabrication. I graduated from Cranbrook Academy of Art. I exhibit nationally. My work is published in e.g. MJSA, Metalsmith, British Vogue, Harpers Bazaar and 500 Earrings.

Tell us how your work is made.

Jewelry is made from metal, precious gemstones and diamonds. Stones shapes can be organic or geometric based on the metal form I pairing with the stone. The techniques that I use are age old such a forming, lost wax, forming, soldering and fabrication. The finishes can be combinations of patinated SS, textured, satin and polished to create dimension and depth.

What makes you passionate about the medium you work with?

I am passionate about the process and the possibilities. The joy of making. The happy unexplainable findings that happen along the way.

What is something unique about you or your practice?
