David M Bowman Studio

This wallpiece, like the related but simpler wallpiece 06.06, exemplifies David's philosophy of balance in asymmetry. The paired sides of the piece are colored in a wide range of our verdigris-based torch technique patinas, as well as distantly related burial techniques for the finer-grained mottled colors. This piece pairs well with wallpiece 06.06, also available here. Their color palette and design language are closely related, though this piece contains much more design complexity, as well as greater physical depth and depth variation.

David and Reed's low-relief abstract wallpieces are one-of-a-kind, timeless designs. They are durable, and have a strong sculptural presence, freeing your wall space from the tyranny of the rectangular frame. The pieces are lighter in weight than they appear, and can be hung on any sort of wall. Like most of our pieces, this one can be hung at any angle for different effects.

This piece measures 14 by 28 inches, and is 4 inches deep at its deepest point. It can be hung out of doors in a protected location, though the colors may change over time in the weather. Indoors it should be stable for a lifetime.
