Modern art quilt was created in the minimalist style using an abundance of blue fabrics both commercial, repurposed and hand dyed, cotton muslin on reverse, machine quilt as you go, and hand quilted to bring softness and texture, color and joy to inspire your space.
"Up" is unique in as it has been made using a quilt-as-you-go technique which means each small color section has been individually quilted then at the very end each quilted assembly is sewn together to create the overall design. Some sections were quilted twice implementing hand quilting over machine quilting giving dimension to this piece.
*Can be hung horizontal or vertical orientation by ie: quilt hangers, straight pins, command products etc. Pockets sewn on all four corners on the reverse for hanging using a dowel, dowel included
