This barbed triangle represents the Triad’s unity of 3 stacked notes on a staff of music and the consonant or dissonant chord that results. Triad resonates with me as a reflection of the tensions that define our daily experiences.
Our Mandala Rings start out as raw materials. Sterling silver sheets are first formed into the beautiful silver bezels. These are then engraved on a rose engine lathe. Rectangular African Blackwood "logs" are turned into the brilliant mandala discs and carved in three dimensions, also on a rose engine lathe. The mandala discs then rest inside of the silver bezels. If a stone is added, 18K gold sheet is formed into the gold bezels that house the radiant gemstones at the center of the mandala.
Each component of these rings goes through a number steps. The result of these labors is a gorgeous Mandala Ring made to the wearers choices of pattern, stone, and size.
The sterling silver ring bezels are 40MM in diameter (nearly 1.6”) and the cozy comfort fit ring shanks we make are hefty at 7MM wide and 2MM thick. To see a short video depicting some of the processes used to make our Mandala Rings, click HERE.
