Rectangular plates and platters made of stoneware or porcelain. The clay material affects the glaze and color. As with all of my tabletop ware, the pieces are unique. I take great pleasure in layering glazes to watch the alchemy as the different components of the glazes interact with each other. The surfaces of these pieces provide a canvas for exploration and gesture.
Each piece is unique. There will be slight variations due to the unique conditions of each firing. Gas, reduction firing.
*There are two sizes. The large platters are sold individually and the smaller ones are usually sold in sets of 4. Contact me if you are interested in other arrangements.
