This piece was inspired by vintage wooden toys from the Boston Children's Museum collection. I was particularly drawn to the letter blocks, which I incorporated as a border around the central medallion. The triangle pattern evokes the swirling colors of a kaleidoscope. The framing around the spaces forms a strong border that captures and contains the joyful energy of play.
