These beadwoven earrings are patterned after four different species of butterflies: Monarchs, Tiger Swallowtails, Alexandra Birdwings, and Purple Emperors. The geometric shape of the earrings, hyparbolic squares or hypars, evokes the feel of wings in flight.
These earrings are very lightweight, at less than 1oz, sturdy and waterproof. They measure about 1” across and will not be damaged by a fall. They include silver plated fishhook style earring hooks that can be swapped for gold plated fishhooks or gold plated leverback earrings upon request.
