Meet the Makers

Explore programming that showcases the originality and uniqueness of craft from the Atlanta/Southeast region.

Historians, curators, and artists in the Southeast share about the handmade objects that add meaning to their lives and work.

Craft Week LIVE is a collection of free in-person experiences September 23–25 that celebrate craft tradition and innovation by makers residing in the Southeast.

Craft Map

The American Craft Council’s Atlanta/Southeast Craft Map features Southeastern museums, galleries, centers, studio tours, residencies, and schools with programs that produce and present the wide-ranging forms of crafts seen in the South today. The map offers a window into the depth of history and contemporary engagement with craft throughout the Southeast. This project, a pilot for ACC, adapts a mapping platform created by artist Michael Strand (ACC Trustee) and designer Aaron Yang for North Dakota State University.
