About The Artist

Victoria Varga • Cumberland Foreside, ME

I have been experimenting with resin in my jewelry for decades. Combining this versatile material with sterling silver, crushed stone, powdered pigments and mica, I create rich luminous inlays behind my bold patterns. Adding my 3D printed designs, which I tumble and dye, combines exciting new technologies with age old metal smithing techniques. My ultimate goal is to create affordable jewelry which is fun to wear and will last for generations.

Q&A with the Artist

Tell us how your work is made.

I’ve been exploring the boundaries of resin for decades. Combining this versatile material with crushed stone, powdered pigments or mica, I create rich inlays behind my bold, contemporary designs. Wether mimicking ivory, enamel, or stone, the resin merges flawlessly with more precious, coveted materials. I am now combining this technique of layering with 3D printed elements which I tumble and dye. I love creating unexpected combinations that intrigue and delight the wearer for generations to come.
