Sublime beauty can be found in natural forms & patterns. I try to capture the forms, patterns & textures found in nature that inspire awe in all of us. High karat metals & oxidized silver are layered in most of my work as well as diamonds & colored stones. Some work starts with a casting & has many fabrication steps thereafter, while others are composed completely by fabrication techniques such as overlay & embossing. I utilize abrasive finishes & patinas to achieve color and texture.

Q&A with the ArtistTell us how your work is made.My work is made through casting a fabrication techniques. I can start with a natural form, a cad file, a 3d print or a sheet of metal. Many fabrication steps after casting or building a cad file the piece is ready to set and finish. I use abrasive finishes and patinas to build layers of color and texture. |
