• About This Artist

  My work is an amalgamation of ideas, inspiration and experiences. Growing up I was surrounded with plants. Since then plants have become an extension of the pieces I create. I am a multimedia ceramic artist. My work reflects the complexity and interconnection of all things in life. I strive to find balance and meaning in my world through my work. Clay keeps us grounded to the physical world and to each other without filters.

  Q:  Can you tell us about how your work is made?

  A: I work with ceramics, as well as locally sourced plants and materials.

  Q:  What makes you passionate about the medium you chose?

  A: Creating work that is very hands on, where I can control and guide the direction I would like it to go in, and of course the best part being that I am able to share it with others.

  Q:  What currently is keeping you nourished, inspired, and passionate for creating craft?

  A: The fact that people enjoy my work and that I get the opportunity to share it with them.
