Meet the Artist

  • About This Artist

I have been working with fiber for over fifty years. I taught textiles at the college level for five years before starting my own business weaving tapestries. I then went on to design and create a line of artistic clothing and furniture which I have been selling at The ACC Shows for forty-five years. I feel incredibly lucky to have made a great living while doing what I love.

  • Q&A With This Artist

A: Most of our jackets are custom made to fit every body type. We make all our own patterns here in the studio and many jackets and bags are sewn using our custom woven jacquard fabrics.

A: I have always loved the interplay of color and texture possible with fiber art. I have helped design many of the fabrics I work with, which has been a unique and amazing experience.

A: The fabrics that we use are a culmination of fifty years of working with color and fiber. They were woven especially for us after working closely for years with an American mill.

A: I now work closely with my daughter. She grew up in the craft world; both in the studio and at craft shows all over the country. Our work is now a combination of our skills, experience and taste, refreshing the work and making it even stronger. Working so closely with one's child, is a rare opportunity that I feel grateful for every day.
