Q&A With This Artist
A: I use earthenware clay and a white clay slip. My pots are soda fired where they achieve their glaze from the process of adding soda ash into the kiln at 2050 degrees.
A: I am passionate about creating functional art. I want my pots to be explored and used, as the best conversations with a piece of art occurs while they are being touched.
A: Fellow artists. Looking and communicating with artists around the country and world and seeing what others can achieve within the medium challenges me to keep making new and exciting objects.
