Using a common material, aluminum, we make uncommon work. We make art jewelry that is affordable and lightweight. Our goal is to give pleasure and confidence to the wearer, expanding the idea of what is wearable, enhancing their image, stretching their imagination and supporting their independent spirit. We texture our metal then anodize in 18 colors. We hand cut each piece individually and assemble with handmade rivets. The myriad color combinations open an endless language of color and design.

Q&A with the Artist

Tell us how your work is made.

We begin by hand embossing raw aluminum sheets to develop a wide range of textures before anodizing in an array of colors. Every element is then hand cut, formed and finished in our studio. We construct all pieces with the sterling connections we also make. Our aim is to make jewelry that is lightweight, fun to wear, engages the eye and enhances the wearer's experience. Textures and colors always vary.

What is something unique about you or your practice?

Jean-Pierre was a successful potter for over 10 years. We use his dinnerware daily. Our family backgrounds cover the world. Our travels are wide. Our education continues. We draw from those influences to make artwork that we hope will speak to everyone.
