About this collection
This collection curated by Open Works staff is selected with makers and artists in mind and snapshots a day in the life of a maker. From home, to the studio and around town, we focused on functional, wearable and utilitarian works that not only serve as a source of inspiration in the makers' day to day life, but that may also be used to support one's creative practice. We were drawn to materials that are frequently used in our makerspace such as wood, textiles and metals, that may have been fabricated with the tools and equipment that are available for use by makers in our community.
