About The Artist

Grace Parliman • Los Alamos, NM

My interest in turning began with an article about segmented woodturning. The versatility of the technique allows for a great deal of creativity and there are endless possibilities when creating a vessel. The features I try to incorporate in a vessel are carving, painting and gilding.
