We are Julie and Ken Girardini...we have been makers for 30+ years. We specialize in “design for the home” (clocks, vases, tables etc…) made of cold rolled steel. We collaborate on the design and making of all the functional home accessories and furniture work and make everything in our studio. Ken also does one of a kind metal/mixed media artwork. Julie does one of a kind sculpture and we do commission work for individuals for their private collections.

Tell us how your work is made.

We design beautiful objects for the home...our primary medium is steel with embellishments of glass, copper, paint and creative energy. Our pieces are fabricated, welded, polished to a refined high quality works. Each has a protective coating for a long lasting finish.


What makes you passionate about the medium you work with?

STEEL - It is an earth element and we are deeply connected to the earth. We love to view nature and its complex architecture.

What is something unique about you or your practice?

We are a husband and wife team that are self taught and have had the pleasure of making our full time living with our hands and our minds for 34 years.
